Jimmy’s path to financial advisory began after spending six years in the commercial real estate. In 2001, he joined Perryman Financial, and it did not take long for him to discover the true essence of his work. For Jimmy, there is nothing quite as gratifying as supporting clients in turning their dreams into reality and building confidence in their financial future.
In Jimmy’s view, his role as a Certified Financial Planner™ extends far beyond portfolio management and financial guidance. It is about building strong connections with each client, helping them see clearly and stay organized with their money matters, designing pathways that empower clients to fulfill their dreams, and providing calm direction through economic highs and lows.
Jimmy’s expertise and dedication have earned him a solid reputation in the industry. Recognized as one of the “Best Financial Planners in Dallas” by D Magazine from 2004 to 2023, his insights have been featured in The Dallas Morning News and MONEY® Magazine. He has also contributed to the profession by serving on the Board of Directors of the DFW Financial Planning Association.
Outside of work, Jimmy is deeply committed to his community, church, and family. He has served as President of the Addison Rotary Club and as a board member of the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. A graduate of Abilene Christian University, Jimmy resides in Dallas with his wife, Alisa. They have two children and live in Dallas.
